Release and Surrender.

In release of my anger, I surrender my hurt,

Beginning to heal scars of bloodied discomfort.

In release of my burdens, I surrender my pain

No longer to look at my scars with utter disappointment and bitter shame.

In release of bitterness, I surrender disgust,

enlightened that the daily self show up for happiness is a must .

In release of confusion, I surrender anxiety

Replaced with comfort, solace and peace entirely.

In release of fear and heartbreak at the drop of a dime,

I surrender my heart to be engulfed in love's sweet sublime.

My crashing ocean of emotions now suddenly stilled,

The cup of giving that remained empty now consistently overfilled.

The end of believing in "too good to be true" was the start of finding love within me and extending it through you.

And as I now float with heart/soul/ mind restored along love's golden hued string,

I pray to God not to lose the being that sparkles brighter than Tiffany's most expensive ring.
