Spotlight Series: Detroit's Soldier for Christ

What's up, ya'll??? Hope you had a great week--I spent mine recovering from the the BEST concert of my life,(which I'll explain in another post soon!) and training for my new job, so boy am I beat! Anywhosit, it's time for yet another episode of the Spotlight Series, whoop whoop! Now please help me in welcoming this week's guest,...........drumroll, please!................my twinny, Elaina Grace Morgan! Twinny (excuse me, Miss Elaina) is an administrative assistant who lives right outside of Detroit, Michigan, but her real passion is to unite believers and to see her city changed. I believe in that with all of my heart not just for my city, but for your city too. While she's not busy making that money in her day job, she paints, makes jewelry, and feeds the homeless on the weekends she can get down to Detroit. Elaina is also a writer--writing everything from blog entries to poetry to prayers in her journal. Like every guest on this series, I connected with Elaina via social media (in this case, Twitter) late last year and began following her blog, Confessions of a Church Kid (yes, she's indeed a PK or preacher's kid, and nothing like the ones on Lifetime lol) soon after. Now, it has grown up to be elainagrace.com, where she inspires others with her story through writing and art about how God exudes through her in all that she does in her young life thus far and where she shall go with it:

1)What is the purpose of elainagrace.com? 

I would say the purpose is to inspire and teach the generation we live in more about God as well as to use the talents God gave me to fulfill prophecies that were spoken over me as a child.

2)Who or what inspired you to create elainagrace.com? Why? 

Well at first it started off as a blog called "Confessions Of A Church Kid" back in 2010. I wrote more to encourage myself and I had no real big plans for it. But eventually the number of readers grew and my friend, Anthony Young, made me my own URL.

3) Where did you see elainagrace.com going in the future?

I would say, God willing that the number of its readers grow. I hope to inspire others to follow their God given dreams as I'm following mine by continually writing and hopefully growing my business as I put faith into action instead of just sitting around doing nothing hoping the prophecies spoken over my life come true.

4) How is elainagrace.com different from “Confessions of a Church Kid” ? How are they similar?

Elainagrace.com is subsequent to "Confessions Of A Church Kid" as I described earlier. However, after creating elainagrace.com I have decided to include more than "Confessions Of A Church Kid". I've included my shop, testimony, three different blogs, and also, I have listed those I partner with all under one site.

5) How would your life be different if you didn’t have elainagrace.com?
If I didn't have elainagrace.com my every day life wouldn't be different except the fact that the gifts God has given me wouldn't be used and would go to waste. Also, my shop is a source of income that helps me pay for my bills. I've been on my own since eighteen so not only is it an outlet for my creativity; it helps me be able to buy food. Without that I'd be struggling which isn't unfamiliar to me, but I also don't believe God wants me to starve if I can do something about it.
