Inner Child Rainbow Reconnection
Bloodied red oozes from the knees and elbows of kids elementary, scraping the cold cement sidewalk below
Orange popsicles sweeter than sugar stains their little tongues, juices dripping off their lips and chins
Yellow sunshine bright kissed their porcelain smooth faces
Grass greener than the crispest $100 dollar bill, lush with a new breath of life
Blue skies painted with fluffy clouds and flocks of chirping birds
Purple flowers erupt from the clay dirt below, blooming with royal pride and grace
Wood brown structures pinned together with silver nails, creating a castle to climb and rule over the kingdom of out wildest imagination or serving as seating for the elderly to read
My black skater shoes pumping up against the wind unseen but always felt, gaining motion till I fly off and land square on planet Earth
White tiles with multicolored handprints of innocence coloring each beam with unfettered love ❤
As I walked back to my four wheeled driver to cruise along the gray road back home, I already began making the next park adventure plans for one day oh so soon.
