Spotlight Series: Loveloft
Happy Sunday, readers!! I can't believe that it's officially June! And it's the first of the monthhhhhh *cue Bone-Thugs n' Harmony* (in case you don't quite understand, follow this link right hurr--> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PArF9k2SbQk). Where the heck is 2014 going??? So, after my Got Virtue?? post was made live not long ago (which you can check it out via the link over HERE-->
http://scarsofshe.blogspot.com/2014/05/got-virtue.html or just scroll downwards. whichever is easiest) , I wanted to keep the interview train going for a bit. So, I'm beginning the Spotlight Series, where I choose an average someone that has an exceptional movement going (from self-love to relationships to fitness to faith, just to name a few) and interview them about their movement's purpose and where it can potentially go and grow up to become.
For this premiere post, I chose to spotlight the lovely Lizzie Beadon. Lizzie Beadon is the creator of LoveLoft.org - a blog/vlog that's all about inspiring women in their twenties to achieve success and happiness. She believes that falling in love with life is like falling in love with a person, and that it requires a little bit of work. I first discovered Loveloft about a year or two ago by accident, and I like the fact that Lizzie appears to be a 'straight to the point ' kind of gal, which is sometimes what we as women need. Even though LoveLoft is targeted towards the 20-something ladies out there, I believe that this advice can definitely be applicable in any and every person's life. Some days, the smoke and mirrors just do not cut the cake of life for us. We need to sometimes hear a person's advice just as it comes out. So, without further ado, I present to you ze interview!! :)
1)What is the purpose of LoveLoft?
The purpose of LoveLoft is to get the message out to as many people as possible that the life you want won't just fall into your lap - you have to work at it. I make weekly videos for LoveLoft where I explore different topics related, specifically, to 20-somethings.
2) Why did you create LoveLoft?
I created LoveLoft because I wanted to inspire women to love their lives.
I love creating conversation, and I really enjoy making the weekly videos :)
3) Where do you see LoveLoft going in the future?
As of right now, LoveLoft is an infant, so I think I need to wait a little longer to find out what it's going to be when it grows up. :)
4) Who or what inspired you to create LoveLoft ?
I was largely inspired by my sister, Alex Beadon, to create LoveLoft. I saw how she helps women in business, and I wanted to help women with life.
5) How would your life be different if you didn't have LoveLoft?
If I didn't have LoveLoft life would be much easier. I'd come home from work, watch TV, and sleep - which is fine. But LoveLoft is my real passion project. It's what I get excited about. So without LoveLoft, my life would be easier but also a lot more boring - and where's the fun in that?
Once again, I just wanted to personally thank Miss Lizzie for taking the time to allow me to broadcast LoveLoft in the spotlight that it very well deserves! If you want even further discovery about LoveLoft to find out more about falling in love with your life or if you just think that Lizzie's pretty to look at ;), you can:
